Through our state-of-the-art Community Kitchen, Khushi Ek Ehsaas runs the Mid-Day Meal program, delivering nutritious meals to students from marginalized communities studying in NGO and charitable schools. This initiative plays a vital role in improving children's health, boosting school attendance, and enhancing their academic performance, ultimately contributing to their overall well-being.
Our mid-day meal program is life-changing for underprivileged children - reducing hunger, improving nutrition, and empowering education. We continuously track key metrics such as attendance rates, academic progress, and health indicators to measure the program's long-term impact.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, when schools were closed, we adapted our approach by reaching out to the residential communities of our students and distributing essential commodities to their families based on their needs.
Beyond daily school support, our Community Kitchen also serves meals at Old Age Homes, homes for children with special needs, and among slum communities - especially on special occasions hosted by our volunteers and partners, spreading care & warmth to those who need it most.
